Handmade Copper Clay & Sterling Silver Bracelet | Floral Textured Squares | Apatite Beads | Choice of Gemstone
Three hand-formed copper squares, each stamped with a delicate floral texture, linked with sterling silver and a beaded gemstone strand of your choosing.
At the heart of this bracelet are three copper squares, approximately 17mm each, individually designed and formed by hand from copper clay — a slow, considered process that means every disc carries its own subtle, handmade character. Each one is imprinted with a delicate floral pattern before firing, giving the copper a soft, textured surface that catches the light beautifully against its warm, rosy tone. The squares are linked together with sterling silver jump rings and a double strand of faceted 4mm apatite beads, all suspended from a sterling silver curb chain. A contemporary sterling silver lobster clasp fastens the piece, with a 2 inch extender chain giving flexibility in fit. Base length 6 inches.

What is Copper Clay?
Copper clay is a mixture of fine copper particles combined with an organic binder, giving it a soft, workable, clay-like texture that can be shaped, textured, rolled, and cut just like traditional pottery clay. Once formed and dried, each piece is fired in a kiln at a high temperature — this burns away the binder entirely and fuses the copper particles together into a single, solid piece of genuine metal. The result is a piece that started life as soft clay in the maker's hands but ends as solid copper, carrying the exact texture and shape it was given at the very beginning. It's a technique that allows for a level of hand-formed, sculptural detail that's difficult to achieve with sheet metal alone — every disc in this bracelet is entirely unique, shaped, stamped, and fired individually.
A genuinely personal piece — the combination of hand-formed copper and your choice of gemstone means this bracelet can be made entirely your own. A lovely gift for anyone who appreciates true handmade craft, or for treating yourself to something made with real time and care.
Caring for your bracelet:
Copper and sterling silver both benefit from a little mindful care:
- 🚿 Keep it dry — remove before swimming, bathing, or washing up
- 🧴 Avoid perfume & products — apply fragrance and lotions before putting your bracelet on
- 😴 Take it off before bed — protects the copper texture and the silver findings
- 🫧 Clean gently — wipe with a soft dry cloth; a silver polishing cloth can help keep the sterling silver bright
- 📦 Store flat — keep in a soft pouch or lined jewellery box, ideally away from air and humidity to slow natural tarnishing
- ✨ Embrace the patina — copper will naturally develop a warm patina over time, which many people love; if you prefer it bright, occasional gentle polishing will restore its original shine
Each bracelet is handmade and entirely unique — every copper square is individually designed, textured, and fired by hand, so no two are ever exactly identical.
